Hi there, don't know any of you yet, but hello and look forward to sharing some fabulous Bali chat. To intro myself/bali experiences I will post a random Journal Entry from a trip of a month long visit to Bali for anyone with an interest or planning a trip. Apologies in advance for spelling and other errors. These are non-edited and sent via email to friends on funky Bali keyboards that I never figured out how to use.

May 8, Journal Entry 5

After the monkey trouble I made it to my seat around a massive stone platform just in time for the Kekuk and Fire Dance (this is now my favorite). My "self-hired" guide found a nice seat for me, right up close. What could be better than watching 70 half-naked men performing on a striking ancient stage at sunset? (the answer could be 70 men that aren’t half over 70). Anyways, looking to the right I could view the jutting limestone cliffs dropping off into the beautiful ocean with a most brilliant pink and red sky. I had so much to look at I didn’t know where to keep my eyes. Wow talk about a choir of men. Scantly dressed in black and white sarongs (representing the balance, our contrast) they together made opposite sounds with their voices almost like high pitched drumming or something very rhythmic with the intention of going into a trance. I think I went into a trance. Eventually when the moment was right the beautiful Balinese women dressed as deities entered the stage portraying a battle of the gods. Frightening creatures came out to battle; one even leaping into a tree off stage. As the hour wore on the men kept-on rhythmically synchronized as opposites, with the chanting sounds, intensifying and becoming more mystical and exciting (this was all done with the breath). Finally when it was very dark, one of the gods overcame the other and showed his power by dancing, jumping and kicking great balls of brush that were set to fire, which was exciting and a little third-world frightening being in that front row with the heat on me and the flames at my feet. The rare and thrilling combination of experiencing that excitement along with a sacred openness trance, was just divine for me.

Here is a link to my last fight i had on the 1st of sept on Rumble on the rock. I took this fight on real short notice so I didn't get to much time to train for it, and it shows cause I totally gas out by the end of the fight. which kind of makes me look bad makes me feel like I didn't fight to any where near my potential, but I guess thats what happens when you get in there with out training hard for it first. I dominated the first round though and I guess I did enough to win a decision, so check it out if you would like.

I'm tired of people making dumb comments like Agus's
"get out of here, i thought u were a video game nerd, we all know PS3 owns everything right now. that’s blue ray right there"
and it's time to wake some people the F up!

PS3 "Currently" (and I emphasize currently) is the worst product anyone could possibly spend their money on. Going to Vegas and spending $600+ on booze and hookers would be a better investment of you money then buying a PS3.

Now a few months back we had a similar discussion and most of you were pro PS2 and Xbox sucks bla bla bla..... you know what, you're dumb and here’s why.

We will start by looking at the top 10 games available on PS3 right now. I'm using gamerankings.com as my source for the reviews as they compile reviews from all websites and magazines and create an average score.

PS3
1. Resistance: Fall of Man
89.2%

2. Fight Night Round 3
85.3%

3. Marvel: Ultimate Alliance
84.1%

4. Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07
81.8%

5. Call of Duty 3
80.7%

6. Need for Speed Carbon
79.8%

7. NBA 2K7
79.2%

8. Madden NFL 07
78.3%

9. Ridge Racer 7
78.2%

10. Tony Hawk's Project 8
77.6%

The only game worth a dam on these ratings is Resistance: Fall of Man which does not even go into the 90% range (but close). And the only two games on these lists which are PS3 only are Resistance: Fall of Man & Ridge Racer 7 (which score wise is pretty crap). The rest of PS3 games are reviewed so poorly I won’t even bother mentioning them.

This is the part I like, the other 8 games on the top 10 are PORTS! A port is a game designed for another platform and then copied over to the current platform. Ohh did I mention they are all ports of 360 games.... well they are. Which means they are not graphically superior as you cannot make a port (a copy) look better then the original (so they look worse) and play exactly the same. Let’s look at how these same games reviewed on 360.

Xbox 360
1. Fight Night Round 3
85.3%

2. Marvel: Ultimate Alliance
83.1%

3. Tiger woods 07

4. Call of Duty 3

5. Need for speed carbon

Now there is no need to point out all of the Xbox 360 games that are reviewed over 90%, its been out longer and just would not be fair.

So how great is PS3??
For $200 more then 360, it’s mostly got 360 games which are reviewed even more poorly then 360.
They are desperately short on supply, so getting them is a pain in the ass.
They are having as many faulty units as 360 did at launch so its no more reliable then 360 (if any thing at this point in time they are far more unreliable).
PS2 games that run on PS3 look even worse then they did on PS2 (look online people are up in arms about it).
There is no unified online community like Xbox 360 has with Xbox live. PS3 owners are left to fend for them self’s.

What I don’t like about my Xbox 360…
Its loud if you playing with the TV volume on low. Other then that it’s been very good to me.

The good news….!
PS3 has amazing hardware…. That no one right now knows how to use. But one day it will have great games! And there are PS favorites in development that are all coming next winter like GTA 4, Grand Tourismo 5, Metal Gear Solid 4, Final Fantasy XIII. Did I mention they are all coming out WINTER 07!! Ohh and GTA 4 will be released on Xbox 360 at launch with PS3… so no exclusivity this time around.

Ohh yeh and Blue Ray…. Amazing!! Tell me, how many of you have a TV that can support 1080p? Ohh you don’t…. too bad you cant enjoy the benefits of Blue Ray then.

Well I plan on buying a PS3 next winter but for sure getting a Wii before then, that will be a good time. Did I mention I have been playing video games since I was 10 and have been working in the Video Game industry for the last 7 years and my Video Game opinions are one of the most respected in my who department and beyond… so I know what the hell I’m talking about.

But don’t worry, I realize more then half of you still think PS3 is the greatest system ever made and can’t wait to buy one. I’ mean why buy a 360 and a Wii when for the SAME money you can get a PS3? That’s why I called this post “PS3 is dumb and if you think not you're an idiot”.

all the wreckless and ignorant drivers in Bali and all the other places in this world.

I received a call tonight from my mother saying shes in the hospital and about to go into surgery. a call that just made my heart beat skip for a few seconds. A motor biker apparently drove totally wreckless at an relatively empty street and hits my mother while shes standing on the side of the road. My mother breaks her leg and a chunk of flesh is torn away. Fortunately nothing worse happened to her. But the worst has yet to come. This mother fucker falls down. my mother ofcourse is laying on the sidewalk. he starts to sit up, look around, pick his motorbike up and drive off. Now, im happy for his sake that i wasnt there, and probably for my sake too, cause i dont know wat i would do if i was there. i can probably guarantee u though that if i was, my baseball bat would have taken every single tooth out of that dude. i just dont know how stupid i would have behaved. but people who are driving without taking any responsibility remembering that its not only your life at sake makes me sick to the stomach. so whether ur an outlaw mother fucker or just sum good ol balinese...................

just wanted to share that with u guys, hopefully it will make a difference.

Snow Trip

The Flax's and Lovetts are heading to Utah this winter. We leaving LA to arrive in Park City Utah on the 7th of Jan for 12 days of skiing. Guest apperances will include the third part of the triplet family in the Shearers. Other actors showing interest include Morgan and Avalon.

DJ Tiesto dies in tragic car crash

Dj Tiesto was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics responding to the accident.

Highway Safety Investigators have told reporters that Dj Tiesto lost control while driving a friend's vehicle on Interstate 80 and rolled the vehicle several times killing him instantly.

ADVERTISEMENT

The vehicle was believed to have been traveling at approximately 95 miles per hour in a 55mph zone at the time of the accident.

Witnesses have stated that Dj Tiesto's car crossed the double lines several times prior to the accident and hit the center lane divider causing the vehicle to flip and roll.

Toxicology tests will be performed to determine whether he was driving under the influence.

Memorial services for Dj Tiesto have not yet been announced. The service is expected to be a closed casket funeral due to the severe head trauma.

BRISBANE, Australia - Steve Irwin, the hugely popular Australian television personality and environmentalist known as the Crocodile Hunter, was killed Monday by a stingray during a diving expedition, police said. He was 44.

Irwin was filming an underwater documentary on the Great Barrier Reef in northeastern Queensland state when the accident occurred, Sydneys The Daily Telegraph newspaper reported on its Web site.

The Australian Broadcasting Corp. said Irwin was diving near Low Isles Reef near the resort town of Port Douglas, about 1,260 miles north of the state capital of Brisbane.
